New tool for education staff launched by National Voice Campaign

A brand new tool produced by young carers involved in the ‘National Voice’ campaign has been released for education workers starting back this Autumn term.

The useful tool helps staff identify new and hidden young carers through a clear step-by-step guide. This will help ask the right questions, notice the signs someone might have caring responsibilities and crucially, help to build the confidence of education workers to reach out and take a preventative approach - to prevent young carers being overwhelmed or forgotten about as schools get back to normal.
