Here are two sources of online support, where you can chat, share your experiences and access information and advice.

Kooth provides free, safe and anonymous online support for young people. You can access it through your mobile, tablet or desktop and it's available:

  • Monday – Friday 12pm – 10pm
  • Saturday – Sunday 6pm – 10pm

'For Me' counselling app: Childline has launched an app that provides counselling directly through your mobile phone. Its available as a free download and includes:

  • 1-2-1 chat with a counsellor
  • 'Ask Sam' problem pages
  • Private locker - a personal area where you can track your mood and write down your thoughts.

There are lots of other websites and support services that can help you with specific issues like caring for someone with cancer or mental illness, or dealing with bereavement. To take a look, click here.
