As a registered charity we rely increasingly on vital charitable donations to continue and expand our work of supporting young carers in Sheffield.

Although we receive grant support towards some of our costs, every year we need more funds to meet the growing demand. We want to provide the very best support for young carers in Sheffield, who need and deserve our help.

We are grateful for any support local people or businesses can offer, however small, as every penny makes a huge difference to the young people we support.

Without the support of charitable donations we would cease to exist.

Donations we receive are used for things like:

• Offering young carers a free holiday/break from their caring responsibilities
• Providing free of charge activity groups and excursions for young carers
• Supporting families to help reduce the responsibilities of young carers
• Training local schools and agencies to better understand young carers and support their needs
• The general running costs of the charity, things like, telephone and internet costs, postage and key staff
