SYC would like to say a big 'thank you' for kind donations we have recently received.

We were given £260, very generously donated by staff at Capita. This meant we could buy goodies for a Christmas party we held for our project memebrs, and give each of them a £5 voucher for Christmas to treat themsleves at a time which, for some families, can feel very hard and lonely.

Sheffield University Stitch Society also kindly held three events to raise money for our project, raising a fantastic £233.20. This money will be put towards our holiday activities this half term, giving our project members a well-earned break from their caring responsibilities.

We also rceeived some goody boxes from Sheffield City Council's Children and Young People's Service, which provided lovely Christmas gifts for some of our project members.
